A design studio and a workshop space to connect, create, and build a deeper relationship with your clothes.

The space is run by Holly Simpson, a designer, maker and teacher who believes it’s time to stop buying new things and start caring for what we already have.

There are regular workshops focused on sewing, mending, and building practical skills. These sessions encourage connection, creativity, and a more sustainable approach to clothing. Seasonal workshops with special guests add further inspiration and opportunities for learning.

From her studio out the back, Holly creates practical clothing and textile goods using reclaimed fabrics and traditional construction techniques. Her work aims to honour the resources of pre-existing garments and materials, creating pieces that work for you with ease, comfort and longevity.

Pins and Needles also host seasonal retail events; falling during Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. These events are a celebration of craft and design, showcasing makers who work with natural and reclaimed materials.
